ShineBright — Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the ShineBright app and cleaning services
(Los Angeles, California). By creating an account or booking a visit you agree to them.
1. The service
ShineBright provides residential cleaning services booked through the app. A booking
request is not a confirmed appointment: we review each request and confirm it, propose a
different time or price (which you can accept, counter, or decline), or decline it. An
appointment exists only once it shows as confirmed in the app.
2. Scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
- Visit times are set in the app. Same-day requests need a minimum lead time and are
subject to availability.
- You can request to reschedule or cancel from the app while the visit hasn't started.
Once our team is on the way or on site, changes must be arranged through chat.
- We may need to propose a new time (e.g., team availability or schedule changes) —
you'll always get the proposal in the app to accept or decline.
3. Payments
- Accepted methods are shown in the app: Zelle (with an optional
discount where displayed) or cash/card in person. The app never
processes or stores card numbers.
- Zelle payments are confirmed manually by our team after you upload your transfer
proof; a visit may show “payment under review” until then.
- Prices shown before a quote are starting points; your confirmed quote in the app is
the price of the visit unless the scope changes by agreement.
4. Coupons and rewards
- One coupon per visit. Coupons apply only within the app's booking
flow, at the moment you book — they can't be added after a visit is confirmed or applied
retroactively.
- Coupons have no cash value, can't be exchanged for cash, credit, or
transferred to another account, and can't be combined with other coupons.
- Expiration dates (when shown) apply. A coupon already reserved on a confirmed
booking is honored for that booking.
- Loyalty rewards accrue on completed visits as described in the app. We may modify or
discontinue promotions prospectively; earned/issued coupons keep their stated terms.
- Coupons obtained through error, abuse, or account manipulation may be voided.
5. Text messages
By creating an account with your phone number you consent to receive service text
messages (one-time sign-in codes). Push notifications cover quotes, visit status, and
reminders; you can turn them off in iOS Settings without affecting your account.
Message & data rates may apply to SMS.
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate address and access information, and a safe working environment for
our team.
- Use the app only for legitimate bookings. Abusive behavior, fraudulent payment
claims, or misuse of promotions may result in account suspension.
7. Our responsibilities and limits
We commit to performing the confirmed services with professional care. If something
isn't right, tell us within 24 hours through the app chat and we'll work to make it right.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a
visit is limited to the amount paid for that visit. Nothing in these terms limits
liability that cannot be limited under California law.
8. Account termination
You can delete your account any time in the app (see the
Privacy Policy for what deletion does). We may
suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be
resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
